Most people start their new year with a list of resolutions and goals they want to accomplish. They try to plan and set expectations for themselves and their lives. There's nothing inherently wrong with making plans for the future but there is a right and wrong way to go about it. Make Your Plans for 2022 but Trust God for your Future. Most people make plans without consulting God and do so wrongfully.
Consider James 4 :13 - 17.
Also, remember always Matthew 6 : 33.
When planning out this year, take heed of wanting things that go against God or trying to do the opposite of what God has asked of you. Don't chase things that aren't meant for you. God's permissive will may allow you to get things you don't need but his expressed will for our physical lives will be better than anything we try to force on our own.
Whether you missed this sermon or you just want to meditate on it further, be sure to read and study the supporting scriptures and let the word of God edify your life.
